Emily Akradi
Emily Akradi is the mother of three and is the visionary founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Life Time Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to nurturing healthy habits in young people nationwide. With a deep-seated passion for youth athletics and nutrition, Emily has spearheaded initiatives that ensure children across diverse communities have access to nourishing, minimally processed foods and engaging physical activities.
Since its inception, the Life Time Foundation has partnered with over 35 public school districts, impacting more than 1.7 million children across 3,634 schools. Under Emily’s leadership, the organization has launched initiatives like the “Get Kids Moving!” grant program, which allocates $500,000 annually to support schools and community organizations committed to fostering sustainable healthy lifestyles.
Emily’s influence extends beyond fundraising; as a founding member of the Board of Directors, she shapes the Foundation’s strategic vision. She is relentless in her drive to transform how school food systems operate, advocating for flavorful and nutritious meal options as a foundation for lifelong wellness.
