Erica Desai & Mary Cannon

Erica is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of CityPickle, the leading urban pickleball lifestyle brand. CityPickle opened New York City’s first indoor pickleball club, including a bar and restaurant, and operatesvenues across the City, including the iconic courts at Central Park’s Wollman Rink. CityPickle operates seasonal courts in Philadelphia and West Palm Beach and is poised for further national expansion including Boca Paddle by CityPickle, a 100,000 square foot facility in Boca Raton, FL that will open in Q1 2026. Erica's professional career has always focused on health and wellness and her experience includes roles at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and the NYC Health Department . Erica received her BA from University of Pennsylvania and her MPA from NYU. She lives in NYC with her husband and two teenagers.

Mary began her professional career in Real Estate Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs, and her business experience includes roles with Starwood Hotels and investment firm Charlesbank Capital Partners. Mary has served as a nonprofit leader in New York City for over two decades. As Board President, Mary helped expand Room to Grow’s reach and mission: providing support to NYC families living in poverty. Mary is an active advocate for Sanctuary for Families, NYC’s leading service provider for survivors of domestic violence. She has served as Board Vice President and Treasurer and co-founded Sanctuary’s Family Council, providing parents and children opportunities to volunteer together.  

Mary received her MBA from Harvard Business School and her AB from Harvard College where she was a two-sport Division I athlete. She and her husband are raising their three teenagers in New York City.
