Taylor Garcia

Taylor Garcia is a professional pickleball player and former collegiate tennis player from New Orleans, Louisiana. A two-time collegiate All-American, Garcia competed at Washington and Lee University before transferring to George Mason University, where she earned all-conference honors in singles and doubles while pursuing a master’s in International Security.
In 2023, after years of competitive tennis, she discovered pickleball and quickly made her mark. Known for her intensity and powerful groundstrokes, she climbed to No. 15 in the women’s singles rankings during her rookie year on the PPA tour—all while balancing a full-time career in aerospace and defense government relations.
Today, Garcia considers herself “retired” from the pro scene but remains deeply committed to the sport. She gives back by teaching and playing in her local community and creating opportunities for others to experience pickleball—especially those who might not otherwise have access, such as deployed U.S. troops in the Middle East and underserved children.
Whether on the court or in policy circles, Garcia brings the same energy, discipline, and sense of mission that made her a standout athlete. Her journey from Division I tennis to pro pickleball and now to community ambassador reflects a deep commitment to excellence, service, and expanding the reach of a sport she loves.
